Responsible for growth and overseeing the operations of Menswear and the relatively recently added Accessories segment. Handled the manufacturing of a third of the Saree segment since early 2017 to June 2018.
Studying the current range of products, their relation to international and domestic sale, consumer perceptions, market research, advertisement/marketing tactics and improving on all controllable aspects of the same. Responsible for business, clientele and collaborative growth for said brands. Also sporadically direct all forms of Visual Media.
- Business development, sales analysis, range planning and production planning. Overseeing stock movement, sourcing, vendor management and deliverables.
- Active problem solving, prioritizing and preempting potential problems.
- Coaching staff for improvement and in order to create contingencies.
Overall, creating a balanced and sustainable business model, working towards higher targets and providing counsel to Mr. Mukherjee as needed.
In addition to this, dressed celebrities like Virat Kohli, Waris Ahluwalia, Ranveer Singh, Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, R. Madhavan, Abhishek Bachchan, Irrfan Khan, Fawad Khan, Suresh Raina, Christian Louboutin and Sundar Pichai etc.
Oversaw and facilitated the functioning ie. fittings, alterations and backstage choreography coordination etc. for the FDCI’s SRM Jwellers India Couture Week 2014 –Firozabad Collection, Amazon India Fashion Week 2015 –Bater Collection, Lakme India Fashion Week 2015 –Big Love Collection and Lakme India Fashion Week 2016 –Firdaus Collection.
Managed Menswear articles for the company’s self-sponsored affairs like the Sabyasachi X Christian Louboutin collaboration runway show at the Delhi flagship store in Sept 2016 and Campaign shoots for Instagram shows that the company predominantly shifted to since 2016 like Udaipur lake palace shoot, ‘Palermo Afternoons’ at Villa Tasca, Rambagh palace shoot and ‘An Endless Summer’ at Falaknuma palace etc. Additionally, planned and delivered garments for the NDTV Good Times’ show ‘Band Baaja Bride’ from Season Four to Season Eight.
As the Head of Menswear design team (as appointed in the initial phase), developed new designs, some of which lead to a few of the key factor to the phenomenally hit collections ‘Firozabad’ and ‘Big Love’. With a collective effort of a brilliant design team, under the guidance of Mr. Mukherjee, Sabyasachi Couture received the GQ award for best Menswear in 2015.
